Evgenia has been practicing law in Russia since 1999 and in the District of Columbia since 2003 focusing on complex international and domestic corporate and commercial transactions, and business regulatory matters. She worked on corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, financings, securitizations, and technology licensing. She represented clients across many state borders and many industries, including real estate, financial services, oil and gas, hospitality, and telecommunications. She had been counseling cryptocurrency businesses since 2015 on transactional and state and federal regulatory matters. Since 2013 she has been also practicing immigration law focusing primarily on employment and investment-based immigration. Evgenia is admitted in DC and NY.
She holds LL.M from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington DC and a Masters of Law degree from the Kutafin Moscow State Law University. She is fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian.
Evgenia has previously worked in Akin Gump, Baker & Hostetler, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, and Pepper Hamilton. She serves as an off counsel to the District of Columbia law firms Cogent LLP and Oster McBride PLLC and a San Antonio, TX firm Padilla Law PLLC. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Ukraine Immigration Taskforce, an NGO, and is a CEO of an international trade business.
